Allegations Of Animal Abuse Pile Up For Owner Of Cell Pet Salon In San Jose




Rachel Murphy is deeply concerned about the experience that his five-pound Toto had last weekend. Rachel claimed that the dog was bloodied and distressed after a groomer had taped Toto r’s lips shut.

Rachel told the story, "My puppy was in obvious distress. What I initially believed was a mask turned out be tape. Toto r was clearly injured and his paws were red. His toenails, cut too closely to the paws likely caused him to bite.


Wow! My Dog, an on-the-go pet salon, employed the groomer that was responsible for this.

Rachel rushed Toto to a veterinarian immediately for medical treatment. Rachel has accused Wow! My Dog of animal cruelty, joining a long list of other people who have made similar accusations. As a result, the San Mateo's office has initiated an investigation into the company for potential animal cruelty.

Rachel described the wounds he noticed, saying: "I noted injuries around the joints, the neck, as well as in the genital. The cuts were so deep that they caused blood to flow."

Marianna De las Vegas, a customer of Wow! My Dog, posted a review on Yelp, detailing how his pets were returned to him injured or unwell. One customer posted a Snapchat clip of a dog who appeared to be in distress, alleging that the groomer forced a napkin down its ear.
Bad Review

Wow! My Dog, in addition to the bad Yelp reviews and the fact that he was trusted to take care of their pets, wants his customers to know what the groomer said. Rachel shared, click here "Juliann informed me that taping the mouth shut is a normal and acceptable method, claiming it is preferable to using a muzzle, which he believes can be harmful to dogs. He also said he personally used this method on his dog."

Gate News called Wow! My Dog, and she answered but immediately handed the phone to a female who said they were investigating these allegations. When asked about Wow! My Dog, the woman quickly stated that it is a separate entity. Then she abruptly ended her call.
